Lauren has spent her career in the labor movement and grassroots politics. Most recently she worked as the National Coordinator for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in Washington, D.C where she managed contract and organizing campaigns in the public sector. She was also responsible for the development and implementation of strategies that promote growth and effective representation of public service members.
Prior to her time in Washington, Lauren was the Field Director for Rep. Katherine Clark's successful campaign for Congress in the Massachusetts 5th District's 2013 special election and served as Campaign Manager for the Congresswoman’s reelection in 2014. From 2007-2013 Lauren was the Political Coordinator for a Boston-based labor union. In that role, she lobbied on behalf of workers in the state of New Hampshire and volunteered on many political campaigns.
Lauren holds a MSPS/MPA from Suffolk University and a BA in History from the University of New Hampshire.

What is your walk in song?
I love to cook. I got accepted to culinary school, but decided on politics instead.
Who is your personality doppelgänger?
I stand firm in my beliefs and have my priorities straight. I’m a workaholic and sometimes a bit dramatic. I’m strong and can handle anything. I would do anything for my friends, I don’t understand foolish people and hell hath no fury like me scorned.
This is the hardest question for me to answer because I love music.
