Power Beer Fest to bring over 60 Massachusetts brewers to SoWa Open Market Saturday

SoWa Open Market, Boston's annual showcase of local arts, food and drinks, will kick off its 14th season with the Power Beer Fest, a festival featuring more than 60 Massachusetts brewers, on Saturday, April 29.

The festival will take place in two sessions at the SoWa Power Station, located at 540 Harrison Avenue in Boston. One session will run from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., while the other will take place from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Breweries from across the commonwealth will participate in the festival. Participating breweries include Aeronaut Brewing Company, Amherst Brewing Co., Berkshire Brewing Company, Clown Shoes Beer, Harpoon Brewery, Idle Hands Craft Ale, Jack's Abby Craft Lagers, Lefty's Brewing Co., Lord Hobo Brewing Co., Medusa Brewing Company, Night Shift Brewing and Wormtown, among others. The beer fest will mark the start of the 2017 SoWa Open Market, which will run every Saturday and Sunday from April 29 through Oct. 29.
