Callahan Completes Benchmark Senior Living Community near Boston
Callahan Construction Managers has completed its third assisted living project with Benchmark Senior Living. The construction of the facility began in 2015.
The 73,000 square-foot senior housing property in Norwood, Mass., consists of 90 apartments, as well as a memory care unit that provides services for those with Alzheimer’s and other illnesses that impair memory. The facility has 69 assisted living units. There are 35 studios, 30 one-bedroom and 25 two-bedroom units.
The senior living property includes a commercial kitchen, library, day spa, on-site dentist office, exercise room, arts/crafts room, beauty salon, bistro kitchen, dining areas, courtyard, pergola and landscaped grounds.
Callahan has also completed two other facilities for Benchmark Senior Living, in Shelton, Conn., and Woburn, Mass.
